Well done class.  However, Mrs. Martin's homeroom (203), needs to complete the following homework over the weekend. Math Homework: Decimal sheet-pg. 3. Students are discovering decimals as part of a whole. They will be working on grids divided out into tenths and hundreths. Those students who are still having difficulty with their multiplication facts, need to practice them nightly. Science Homework: Students placed their chapter 2 vocabulary words in their science notebook. They are to continue reviewing them as we read the chapter. Studying even just one word a night will make the chapter easier to understand, and of course, will make studying for the overall test less challenging. If your child did not turn in their progress report today, please sign at the bottom and return it on Tuesday. Reminder: $3.00 for the agenda. Thank you.  Have a wonderful, long weekend. Happy Columbus Day!       10/6/2011 Math Homework: DMP (Daily Math Practice)-Thursday This is a daily review of multiple math topics (i.e. multiplication, division, and word problems.) I ask students to put forth 100% effort. If there is something they don't understand, I ask them to make an attempt. We correct it together in class, where they can see where they went right or wrong. Decimal worksheet pg. 9 We are just beginning our study of decimals, fractions, and percentages and how they are related.   Science Homework: We are beginning Chapter 2-"What Makes Up the Solar System". Please begin reviewing the vocabulary words for this chapter. Signed progress reports are to be returned tomorrow $3.00 for the cost of the agenda If there were any papers in the Thursday envelope which needed to be signed, please return them on Friday.
