| Daily ELA homework always includes reading. Parents,
please ask your child to show you their assigned reading book and ask them
to read aloud to you.. These books have been chosen based on current reading
levels. We read the same book all week in order to improve fluency, access
to comprehension strategies and improve writtn expression.
Most days students are assigned a phonics worksheet that is aimed at their IEP goals and skill level. Most students are currently working on open, closed, and VCE syllable types plus suffix endings. Math- Students are currectly working on fractions, Daily homework worksheets will be assigned unless noted in their agenda book. Students in Mrs. Eckersley's ELA and math class are not assigned homework worksheets on the week-ends. Enjoy your familiy time together.
